ZOOM FAMILY MEETING REPORT Principal Cavallo led a zoom meeting for families of St. Albans City School students on Tuesday evening 5-19-2020. During the meeting, she shared findings from a recently conducted survey of SACS families about distance learning. MESSAGE FROM THE LIBRARY Since the in-school part of the year ended somewhat abruptly, we realize that students may still have library materials that they no longer need or have finished reading. If you wish to return them, we urge you to drop them by the school. If your student is ready to check out other books, the online catalog can be accessed here (https://sacslibrary.follettdestiny.com/common/welcome.jsp?context=saas20_4448088) or on the City School webpage under Family Resources. If you prefer, I am happy to help find resources and/or give recommendations of enjoyable literature. I’ve had the privilege to get to know most of our students, and so may be able to find some books particularly tailored to their taste. It is a presentation tool that is used as an alternative to traditional slide making programs such as PowerPoint. Prezi makes use of one large canvas that allows the view to pan and zoom to various parts of the canvas where ideas are emphasized and presented, often in a video format. .
